John Hendrix is a New York Times Bestselling illustrator and author of many children's books, including Shooting at the Stars, Drawing is Magic, John Brown: His Fight for Freedom and the upcoming Miracle Man: The Story of Jesus. His illustrations have appeared on book jackets, newspapers and magazines all over the country. John also is an associate professor, teaching illustration in the Sam Fox School of Art and Design at Washington University in St. Louis.
Noah MacMillan is an illustrator and designer living in St Louis. He works hard to bring ideas and energy to a wide range of projects spanning editorial, advertising, packaging, and large-format installations.
Noah graduated in 2011 from the Communication Design program at Washington University with a focus in illustration. His thesis project, a visual exploration of creation myths from around the world, was featured Smithsonian Magazine and the American Illustration Annual.
He has worked for clients like Chipotle, Ted Books, Bloomberg Business week, Shake Shack, and San Francisco Magazine and many more. His work has been recognized in American Illustration, Print Magazine Illustration Annual, The Society of Illustrators LA, AIGA St Louis. and he was recently listed among “20 Young STL Artists to know” by Alive Magazine.
Noah is also a zealous soccer fan and should given a wide berth when Arsenal FC is playing. Luckily he has been able to channel this obsession into a stream of soccer related work for clients like The LA Galaxy, Portland Timbers, Howler Magazine, World FC, Pickles Magazine (UK) and SoFoot magazine (France).
