Caren Schlossberg-Wood
Education Co-Chair

I’m a designer, a writer, an illustrator, an educator, a problem-solver, an optimist. I follow my curiosity. Make stuff with my hands. Embrace the unexpected. I teach students to be curious, empathetic and experimental. Thoughtful, strategic and fearless. I make them draw. A lot. Always looking for the big idea.

I believe that good work synthesizes the intersection of content and expression. Of language and image.

As a designer, I want to use my abilities to leave the world a little better than the way I found it. I believe that design has the power to make connections. To create change. It has the power to lift us up.
