Enrique Von Rohr

Enrique Von Rohr is the Director of Research & Technology and a Senior Lecturer for the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. He is involved with strategic planning and management of research for projects across the school, oversees information technology and teaches communication design.

His design and research interest focus on design thinking and how a human centered design process can solve for interaction and system challenges in the health sector. He leads entrepreneurial projects that encompass three-dimensional components, architectural systems, and user interaction design.

Past experiences have included Creative Director and President of Design360 as well as an Associate at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects in New York City. Von Rohr’s practice as a visual communication designer includes expertise in exhibit design, signage and wayfinding design, brand identity, print, interface design and experience design. He leads all phases of the design and production process, from design research, schematic design, design development, contract documents and administration.
