About Pixels of Fury
Presented by Shutterstock, Pixels of Fury is a traveling competition that pits designers against one another in a high-speed challenge, cheered on by a live audience. With judges and crowd watching, the pressure is on to create the most compelling work before the clock runs out.
How It Works
Competitors face off in 20-minute rounds at computer stations in a party setting, creating original posters with a common challenge. In each round, a winner is selected by votes from the judges and the audiences (through SMS voting). In the final championship round, the winners of each of the competition rounds switch topics and re-design each other's posters.
All competitors use curated Shutterstock lightboxes to create their posters; they can add type but can't use any outside images or additional hardware. The thing happens live, with competitors surrounded by the audience and their posters projected on screen as they're being created!
This Years Winner Will Win
