Tell us about yourself.

I am a designer based in St. Louis, MO. I love everything related to graphic design and visual arts. You will find me learning something new or strengthening my skills in C4D. Since I was 14, I have been creating work for various pep>and have continued to explore the world of design. I guess you can say that design was my alternative for video games since I was never allowed to play during the week in high school.

What are your biggest motivators?

Other designers. One thing that I loved about school is being around other designers. Seeing everyone work hard on their projects is something that motivates me. Sometimes, social media has the same effect on me.

What career accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am glad that I worked with hip-hop artist CJ Fly while also completing my capstone project, a hip-hop festival based in New York City.

If you could ask one fellow creative one thing, who / what would it be?

How and when did you find your identity? Being a senior with only a few weeks of school left, I often think about the type of designer I want to become. I’m at the point of my life where I just want to do anything that grabs my attention. This is fun, but also causes an issue because I’m not sure what kind of designer I am or want to become.

How do you spend your time away from work/school to recharge?

I love taking photos and listening to music. I recently got a new film camera and have been shooting film whenever I have the time.

What’s your favorite design tool?

I love the blending modes or the layer style tool in Photoshop. There are a million designs that you can create with just those two alone.

What’s your favorite place in St. Louis?

My favorite place in St. Louis is the Graffiti wall.
